It doesn't look like there it was an actual font used. They appear more to be drawn by the differences in all the Es, the D in Advanced and Ampliada have very different thicknesses and shape on the curved stroke. The fact that several characters overlap also suggests that they are all drawn rather than a font. Font characters are like little individual pictures placed side by side that don't overlap.
If you still believe it is an actual font (which I personally doubt given the limit usage of it along with the above reasons), why not contact various Hasbro/Milton Bradley offices and ask what font was used for the HeroQuest logo?
